Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using the RanchPad platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using RanchPad on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

2. The Service

RanchPad provides a cloud-based farm management platform including livestock management, crop planning, financial tracking, compliance tools, mapping, and related services as described on our website. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually based on your selection.
  • Prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise stated.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods, except as required by law.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days written notice.

5. Your Data

  • You retain full ownership of all data you enter into RanchPad.
  • You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the service.
  • You may export your data at any time in standard formats (CSV, PDF).
  • We will not access your data except as necessary to provide the service, troubleshoot issues at your request, or comply with legal requirements.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure.
  • Upload malicious code or content.
  • Resell or sublicence access to the platform without our written consent.

7. Liability Limitations

RanchPad is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for losses arising from platform downtime, data errors, or decisions made based on information displayed in the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or NZ$100, whichever is greater.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, after providing reasonable notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand, except where local consumer protection laws grant you the right to bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
